1. In most clinical applications, 19 recording electrodes (plus ground and system reference) are used. A smaller number of electrodes are typically used when recording EEG from neonates (usually 10).
2. Additional electrodes can be added to the standard set-up when a clinical or research application demands increased special solution on position maps.
3. Universal headcaps models allow to use the same cap with EEG instruments produced by different manufacturers.
4. Besdata manufactures EEG Electrode Caps with direct connection with main EEG instruments, further reducing the exam’s preparation time and costs. No need of adapter cables
